Stephanie Ortiz is a Crossfit Level 1 trainer and has been at Crossfit Adelaide since
2014. Steph grew up playing sports from a very young age, started gymnastics
when she was 5 and continued through out high school when springboard/platform
diving became a new passion for her. After competing collegiately for 4 years and
graduating from The University of Wyoming Steph traveled to Australia and found
Crossfit Adelaide and has never looked back.

Favourite Thing About Coaching Crossfit – Witnessing people realize what they are truly
capable of is one of the greatest rewards of coaching and training others.
Being active and competing are some of Stephs favorite things to do, so the
transition to crossfit was a natural progression in her athletic journey. She is the
Fittest Female in South Australia (2016,2017) she has competed in the Crossfit
Pacific Regional in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 placing in the top ten all years but
one. Making it to the Crossfit Games has been one of Steph’s lifetime goals narrowly
missing out twice on a qualifying spot, she’ll never give up, but is continually excited
to see what other avenues her fitness can lead to. Outside of the gym Steph enjoys
spending time outdoors, whether its for a trail run or hanging out on the weekends
with her husband and friends.
